Most of what happens in a 3DXChat venue happens in a pose. Poses are picked from the character controls along the right edge of the screen, and many of them belong to an object rather than to open floor.

Starting a pose

A community guide to the interface lists selecting a sex position among the options in the right-side character controls, along with sitting, lying down and choosing whether an accessory is in use. The same guide describes the general interaction rule that governs objects: when an action is available a green star appears, a left click performs it, and the character returns to its earlier position when the action ends.

Objects carry their own actions

Because interaction is signalled by the green star rather than by a fixed key, furniture and props advertise what they can do simply by being approached. A chair, a bed or a piece of club furniture offers its actions the same way any other interactive object does.

The pose library grows with updates

New poses arrive in content drops. The official updates page records a drop on 9 July 2025 that added new sex poses alongside clothing and gifts, and announces the 3.3 release of 30 October 2025 as bringing further new features. Full patch notes are kept on the official Discord server rather than on the website.

Sounds during a scene

The 1 key makes the character moan and is described as working outside sex scenes as well; the 2 key is described as active only in sex mode.
