Dancing is something a character does from the right-side menu rather than from a separate emote list, which is part of why a dance floor in 3DXChat fills up so easily.

Where dances are chosen

A community guide to the interface describes the character controls along the right edge of the screen as the place where you choose what your avatar is doing, and lists dancing among the options alongside stepping, walking, lying down and sitting.

Animations arrive with updates

The animation library grows through content updates rather than through purchases. The official updates page records a content drop on 9 July 2025 that added new sex poses along with hairstyles, tights and outfits, and announces 3DXChat 3.3 on 30 October 2025 as a release with new features and visual upgrades.

The detailed patch notes for both are kept on the official Discord server rather than on the website, so anyone tracking exactly which animations were added has to go there.

Sound as part of the performance

Two keys are listed as character sounds rather than interface controls. The 1 key makes the character moan, and is described as working outside sex scenes too, while the 2 key is described as active only in sex mode.

Filming and screenshots

The free camera on F5 detaches the view from the character, and Shift with Z hides the interface. Together they are what most players use to photograph or record a dance, with the screenshot button in the top-left corner of the screen.
