Three of the things XGold buys change your account rather than decorating an evening: a gift sent to somebody else, a slot for another character, and a change to your own name or gender.

Gifts

Gifts are virtual items bought with XGold and given to other players. A community guide names drinks and champagne among them, and describes buying a round for friends. The official updates page records new gift items arriving with the content drop of 9 July 2025, so the catalogue changes with the game.

Sending XGold is not the same as sending a gift. Transferring your own currency to another player carries a ten per cent commission, while gifting XGold means buying new currency with real money for that player.

Character slots

Characters belong to the account, and extra ones are bought. A community guide lists an additional character slot at 10,000 XGold and describes it as a way to start again without giving up the character you already have. Because the XGold balance is shared across the account, every character draws on the same purse.

Name and gender changes

This is the one transaction with an official price and an official procedure. Support describes it: log in, click the gear button under your character, then choose Change Name and Gender. Twenty thousand XGold is deducted when the change succeeds, and a single fee covers changing the name and the gender together.

A new name is not a free choice. The official rules prohibit names carrying profanity, insults, discriminatory or supremacist content, references to the abuse of minors, copyrighted or trademarked material, or the names of religious figures. The administration may change or sanction a name that breaks them.
