A profile is how other players read you before they talk to you. In 3DXChat it is reachable from the bottom-right cluster of the screen, next to clothes, chat, settings and menu.

Profiles are public space

The official game rules treat a profile as a public place rather than a private one:

• Advertising is prohibited in chats and profiles alike, with an exception for recruiting within 3DXChat.

• Names, images and signatures must not carry profanity, insults, discriminatory content, excessive gore, or references to illegal substances.

• Copyrighted and trademarked material must not be reused.

• Anything associated with the abuse of minors is prohibited outright.

The rules also state that the administration may delete, update or modify names and images it considers inappropriate, and that the account holder answers for what appears under their account even when somebody else put it there.

Two further rules read as advice as much as prohibition. Publishing another player's personal information without consent is prohibited, and trying to extract account information from another player is prohibited. Both apply to what you choose to publish about yourself as much as to what you say about other people.
