Groups under the rules

Group life is recognised by the official rules rather than described by them. Advertising is prohibited in the chats, but the rules make an explicit exception for 3DXChat related recruitment such as forming platoons, companies and clans. The rules also cover room names and clan logos, which tells you that groups have both.

Etiquette the rules require

Most of the etiquette here is not a matter of taste. It is the official rules:

• No insults, personal attacks, abuse or harassment, at any level.

• No begging or soliciting, including asking for real money or game gold.

• No slander, and no publishing another player's personal information.

• No threats of real-life violence, against players, game masters or administration.

• Account sharing is strongly discouraged, and whatever happens under your account is attributed to you.

Report breaches through the official contact form rather than arguing them in chat, which is itself against the rules.
